New Crest Care is a care provider that supports elderly residents with a range of healthcare needs.
All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.
For our residents with dementia it is really helpful if family members are able to support care-staff in putting together a Memory Book. Memory Books are a brilliant aide-memoire for residents and helps them to share their life-stories with staff and fellow residents.
Before becoming a resident at Fernbank Nursing Home our Management Team will have met the prospective resident and conducted a Care Needs Assessment. This initial assessment allows the Care Home Manager to put a full Care Plan in place and order any special equipment ahead of the resident moving into the home.
